One Pot Meals – Creamy Double Cheeseburger & Bacon Soup
Creamy Double Cheeseburger & Bacon Family-Size Soup Mix – The flavours of a juicy meaty cheeseburger and smokey bacon mixed together in a creamy cheesy broth creates the taste that will trick you into thinking you’re sinking your teeth into a juicy bacon double cheeseburger! Bacon?… Who doesn’t love bacon!
Makes 6-8 servings.
What you will need:
- 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 Pound Bacon, Cooked & Crumbled
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Croutons
- 6 Cups of Water
Remove Pasta from Cone & Set Aside. In Med non stick skillet, brown hamburger until no longer pink. Drain excess fat, set aside. In Large Pot on Med Heat add water & Seasoning Mix whisking constantly until mixture just starts to bubble (not boiling), add 1 Cup shredded cheese, whisk well until melted. Add hamburger & pasta & simmer for 10-15 min stir occasionally until pasta is cooked. Ladle into serving bowls, top with crumbled bacon, croutons & shredded cheese. **For a real cheeseburger feeling, top with diced pickles, dab of ketchup/mustard/mayo in bread bowl. Serve & enjoy.
Suggested Meal Tip: Give a true cheeseburger feeling by serving the soup in a bread bowl, or serve in a regular bowl accompanied with slices of fresh baguette or freshly baked Cheese Buns (Cheddar is recommended). Sprinkle extra crumbled bacon and shredded cheese on top with some garlic herb croutons. For those that dare… add a small dollop of ketchup, mayo and mustard… You will LOVE IT!
